Looking to spend a week at Kentucky Lake next spring and could use a guide recommendation. Mostly crappie fish so wanted someone familiar with the lake that has proven success. Thanks for the feedback.

For crappie, I'd go with either Craig Hipsher or Fish Tales Guide Service. I've got a buddy who's friends with Craig and says he's a helluva crappie fisherman. Don't know too much about Fish Tales Guide Service other than the fact he guides for crappie.
Maybe Dave Stewart will weigh in on this for you. He's a great fella and KY Lake guide, but only does bass fishing trips. He know all those guides and can probably steer you in the right direction.
The two guide services Slop mentioned are good as is Cpt Kirk, Malcolm Lane (Hook Line and Sinker), Cpt Kevin Frey, Cpt Brad Weakley, Ky Lake Guide Service, Cpt Rodney Hairgrove. Any of these folks should be able to put you on some Crappie. I would make my booking now to ensure you can get one of these folks for prime time Crappie bite..contact the guide and ask him when you should come...none can pinpoint exactly which week but they will all have an educated recomendation from past experience. You can find all these guides listed in the Guides section at www.kentuckylake.com .
