Fished mon and wed of this week. mon boated 14 - one keeper largemouth and 1 keeper spot - others throw back spots. have found several schools of spots that are not moving much - just sitting and waiting to ambush shad. unfort not much size to them. today only 5 fish but 2 keepers spots out of the lot. fish both days caught on topwater and yeah you guessed it - swimbaits. fishing tougher today with bluebird sky and little to no wind this am. fished both days on upper end. midlake has been tough by reports from friends. water temps on mon 72 and today approaching 77. this warming trend has slowed down the fishing and the big fish have not moved up yet best i can tell. typical stain on upper end for cumberland now that water is down. encouraging that i saw several bass boats both days! good luck!
