Going to Dale Hollow on Friday to get away from everything and the weekend warriors. I havn't been to Dale in about 2 years and was hoping to get some info, water temp, color and maybe even some tips to catching some bass. Ky's, largemouth and that elusive brown fish. Thought about hiring a guide for the day but with gas prices the way they are now the trip alone is going to cost about $100 for the truck and boat. Most of it in the truck. Any info is appreciated and if you have detailed info PM that to me if you dont feel cumfortable posting it.

Thanks for the lead. I'll check it out.......Bill
becareful running if you travel off the main channels anytime you find yourself near flat ground, a number of old home foundations, the temps are coming down, we had 70 sat. and we are having light frost every morning this week, i hit a 5.5 largemouth on a black jig with a lizzard trailer thursday, I usually only fish livebait, so that fish was a treat. If u need a guide (using livebait) let me know i can arrange one
I'm not much for fishing with live bait, but thanks for the offer to help. A 5.5 largemouth is a treat on any trip, Great fish. I'll have my GPS and navigate carefuly anywhere I go down there. I have heard some bad stories about that lake and its shallow spots. Thanks for the help. Have the fish begun there shallow water pattern feeding up for winter?becareful running if you travel off the main channels anytime you find yourself near flat ground, a number of old home foundations, the temps are coming down, we had 70 sat. and we are having light frost every morning this week, i hit a 5.5 largemouth on a black jig with a lizzard trailer thursday, I usually only fish livebait, so that fish was a treat.
