KY lake today?

Anyone see the results of the midwest classic today? Just wondering if the fishing has picked up any.

Barry, my brother and I took part in the Midwest Classic last week. It took 34# to win and over 20# for two days to get a check. North wind made it a little tough for some, but not for all. The team that won had over 19# the first day and 15# the second day.

We ended up in fifth with 26#. Congrats to the winners - enjoy spending (or saving) that $30K check!

Just out of curiosity, do you know which section (upper, mid, lower) of the two lakes the bigger sacks came from on the mid-west tournament. We had a tough time finding keepers each day (mid KY lake), still fun catching the smaller ones thou. Congrats on your finish.

Splatterback, not exactly sure where all in the Top 5 were - but I did hear the guys that won were fishing North Barkley with c-rigs. Talked to another team in the Top 5 that was fishing North Bark and North KY. As for us, we were mid-lake and had the same difficulty as you - we didn't have a fish over 3# either day. Lots of bites, and had to weed through alot of shorts, but not the right pattern to win on....
