Went today and found several throw backs and 4 nice crappie. All caught on bandit cranks in main lake timber after bout 11:00. Main lake water temps around 57 to 58 , found some 63.5 degree bout half way up the lake where we caught our fish.

I made it out there today, fished about every lure known to man (and even some not known). The only pattern I figured out was a black/blue Eakins jig with a matching baby paca craw about half way back in the creeks. Nothing big, one borderline keeper and a few dinks. Slow day. We did see an otter catch a fish. I think he was taunting us with it.

Funny, but sometimes the Otters do catch more fish than I do...But I do like Taylorsville lake for my close by fishing addiction......That is when ever I can't get to Nolin......
