    bloodworms

    Has anyone tried bloodworms for striper? I've used them in Maryland and they worked great.

    I have thought the same thing, we used them for striper, spot, and croaker in Virgina, and figured they would probaly work, I just never tried them because of the cost. Tom523 you ever chum for stripers there, I bet some ground up gizzard shad would work also if there was current being drawn. What part of Maryland are you from, grew up across from there in Virginia, fished the potomac, and Cheaspeake growing up.

    I'm fromPa. but when I was in the Army I fished the Chesapeak alot by Havre de Grace.

    I was stationed at Fort Eustis in Virgina also. Did you ever get into eating steamed blue crabs, man I miss those. Cheaspeake was a great place to fish.
