Yeah Marty they are moved. I have not been there to the new one yet. I drove by there today and saw the place. It's across from Sam's Club as you said. It's about 8 minutes off I-75 instead of 15 now.

Just curious if anyone else knew that backwaters in lexington had moved? I recently stopped in and they were packed up and gone. Come to find out they moved over on new circle across from Sam's Club next to starving artist gallery. Anyway, for those that didn't know like me, now you do!

I had no idea they moved. Thanks for the update.
Saw it from New Circle Sat. night (had to make Sam's trip) looks to be smaller than the Woodhill store. Look forward to checking it out the next time I'm in the area.

I'm practically neighbors with them now at work. I stopped in after they got everything moved a few days ago. They still had some stuff to get put away and organized, so it was packed in there pretty good. The store is a bit smaller, but it'll be fine.
They need to get some signage up and some decals on the windows to help people find it, but they're still getting settled in. Traffic is pretty good there, but right now if you aren't looking for it you aren't really going to know it's there. All they have up right now is a red and yellow banner that says "Live Bait & Tackle."
Right across from Sam's Club is Gilson Plaza. There are two seperate strip mall buildings that face the road. The one on the left has Starving Artist Gallery in it. They are in that one. To give you other landmarks, there is a Taco Bell directly across the road, the other building in the strip center has Car Stereo Warehouse in it, S&S Tire/The Street Source is a couple doors up, it's all near Paul Miller Ford at the intersection of Winchester Rd/New Circle. Of course, for some of you fellers, probably all I need to say is "It's right across the road and walking distance from Solid Platinum." LOL
They're working on a few other things too...pay them a visit.
We are getting the store together as fast as we can. We are also open til 9 in the evenings now.
Stopped there yesterday. Very busy place. Got all the help I needed and staff was very willing to help me find things. Awesome people to deal with. Store is smaller but they had everything I could possibly imagine and then some.
Yes, being open til 9 is pretty sweet. Been many times I have needed something and ran late getting off work, only to get there and the doors be locked. We have actually had quite a bit more business in the evening than I thought we would at first. I guess word is getting out.
Thanks for the info. I stop in there every month or so. I know right where that shopping area is located across from Sam's Club.
Open until 9PM is nice for sure. Does anyone know if they have minnow and/or shiners right now? I'll need some next week.
Thanks!
they keep a good stock of minnows (med and lrg) and if your needing shiners, you can give them a call and make sure they have some or they will get some.
