is ther any good bank access at Cannelton ??

when the sauger get to bitin good me,wife and son are thinking of going down to cannelton for a fresh peice of scenery. is access from the bank decent or would i need to haul the boat down. Thanks for any info.

Well, if your looking for "scenery", you will be disappointed. Preparing for construction of the new hydro dam and power house they pretty much have stripped the bank bare of anything (quite ugly). I do not know if they have restricted access yet, or if they will at all from the Ky. side of the river. I will try to make a call to JN at the baitshop in Hawesville to see if he has any info on accessability.
If access is restricted you will have to drag the boat Hawesville or Tell City and put in. The runs are about the same distance and not very far.
