Got a hold of some rubber worms about 4 year ago, they was give to me, no package, and I cant find nothing like them. They were 6-7in. long with two wings, kinda like a leg on a lizard. They worked pretty good for me would like to find more. Any ideas on what brand make such a item? I even Googled and Ebayed around a little with no luck.
The original was called the salty sensation. Then someone came out with the chicken foot. These are no longer in production from what I gather. You might google it . I remember an article from Bassmaster Magazine, part of the "The Day on the Lake" series a few years back with Joe Thomas and it was one of his go to baits. I believe they even had a picture of the worm in the article. He did refer to it as a chicken foot worm. I believe he has a web site. You could try contacting his show Ultimate Match Fishing, perhaps they could put you in touch with someone who makes them. If I find the article I'll post it on here for you. Funny story, last fall I saw one hanging in a tree in a pocket on KY Lake and my partner and I had a good laugh figuring Joe was marking his spots!

Well Barlows web site dont have'em they do have a mold that comes close. Looks like I am out of luck, I've looked up every soft plastic company I know and came up empty. Thanks for all the background info on these baits, looked like they was a common bait years ago. Will have to keep looking, might be reason to try making my own.
Venom Lures used to make a wing worm but they don't show it on their website any more. You may want to call them direct they might still have some . If you do a Google search on Venom wing worm a website comes up Bait Casers on Line . They show 5 colors, but I can't tell if this sight is even still active. Hope this is some help.
I did a Yahoo search and here is an interesting link that I come up with. It shows a Venom Wing worm. Hope this is what you are looking for. http://www.venomlures.com/cgi-bin/st...t=5152wingworm
That's what I on the hunt for. However there not listed on the main plastics page, how you got that product up beats me.
I did find this: http://www.riverslung.com/softplasti...ticspage2.html
and they do custome colors, salt and scent. Have not try to contact them yet, the see if they will mix colors on a 100 count order.
Looks like were on the right track now, thanks for help, any other info or different places to get these keep'em comming.
EDIT: Venom link goese to 2006 copyright. I sent them an email I post if I find out anything.
