I was told that they (???) are trying to keep the road from washing out every time that it floods. I don't believe it has anything to do with the ramp...unfortunately!

Tyme, if I'm standing on the ramp lookin at the river I stay to the right or yes bank side... When I get to the water I still get out and look because some people leave little presents for you on the ramp under water, I lost a tail light on my trailer a little while back due to a concrete block....which served as an anchor for a while till I left it over with yours at the lower dam...Chuck

its about half way between new albany ramp and cesars next to Mcbrides barge company. i put in at new albany today and for where we fish its a lot closer than greenwood but talk about a axel theif. that ramp could get you hung up in a heartbeat but middle creek is not too much better.

If the lower level is under 11.0ft, New Albany can be very tricky if not impossible for a bass boat. Been there, done that. Clarksville is not much better when the level is under 10.0ft

I've never launched from Middle Creek but went out to see it last week. Lots of rebar sticking up which could catch some people when the level is up and the bars are under water.

But have no fear, after the election, all our problems will be solved!!

Tax my boat. Tax my trailer. Charge me a lake fee. But nooooooo, don't ever upkeep a ramp.

All of us "rich" boat owners should pay a $50.00/day launch permit at EACH ramp we use that day. That should solve the problem of over crowding in the rivers and lakes.

Middle Creeek is alright after you get used to it. it looks big enough to launch three or possibly four boats at a time but beleive me you can only go one at a time. the rebarb sticking up could be a nightmare if you didnt know it was there. go down there when the water is low and check it out and you will see where it is safe to back down at. i have seen boats of all sizes launch there. jon boats to 20ft pontoons.
i would be more than happy to pay a launch fee if the money actually went to upkeep the ramp and maybe some restroom facilities

Or better yet....charge the rich boater for my fee....that seems fair...right?
NOT, keep your money...you pay your share I'll pay mine. That's fair!
