Was the fog bad at Jamestown today or what? From where I sat, I couldn't even see the end of the dock at the ramp. How about you all?
Yea Maker Mark has that effect on me TOO.LOL
We took off at boat #26 in the bullet tourney. We went about 1 mile at the most heading towards Burnside and then it was so thick we couldn't see 100 feet. I got the boat close to the bank, put the troller on high and found a cove to get in. Was affraid of getting run up on. Scarey to say the least. Fog lifted in that area so we could run safe at around 10:30.
it was clear once you got past mystic view area down below from mill springs area. but that was a bad patch of fog hanging in that area.
Side story that is pretty funny.. We were out fishing on Cumberland one day when it rolled in like that. We found us a deep cove finger and hung out waiting for it to lift. Waited, waited, waited. Finally said the heck with it and started trolling out of the finger. Got to the mouth and save for that finger, there was no fog left to be seen. We don't know how long we sat there in the cove while it was all clear in the creek.
I've done that to Duayne, lol. Awe the fog stories on Cumberland, I've got a bunch of those. Had to spend the night once and didn't want to, lol. Funny thing was I was within two miles of Grider Hill. You could barely see the red and green light on the bow, I was soaked from Fog, what a night, quite spooky to I was almost kinda skeered. I've never been that disoriented in my entire life.Side story that is pretty funny.. We were out fishing on Cumberland one day when it rolled in like that.
