A buddy and myself are planning a fishing trip this week. Just wondering if anybody has fished Green River Lake or Cedar Creek. Dont need spots or anything like that just if they are biting or not. Any info would really be appreciated. Thanks.

Would give you an answer on CC---But been awhile since I have been over to CC--Same for Wormin----Me and Wormin are getting cranked up for KY LAKE we will be thier all next week now i can give you a blow bye blow on that trip when i get back.GL to us all
Green has just finished turning over and is still very tough. If you have another choice i would advise it.
Green is next to impossible...would stay as far away from it as i could
Thanks guys. Looks like we will go to C-land.
I hate to tell you this but Cumberland is dead to. 184 boats and the winning weight was just over 10lbs. 75% of the field never weighed a fish, now that is bad. Been the slowest fall down there I've seen in a long long time. Barren and Ky lake and Barkley seem to be the only semi hot spots right now.
I guess it depends on what you are fishing for on the big C. I have a report of over 50 Stripers with several doubles up to 20# from this past Sunday.I hate to tell you this but Cumberland is dead to. 184 boats and the winning weight was just over 10lbs. 75% of the field never weighed a fish, now that is bad. I was referring to the bass bite Dave, I know them ole stripers are getting keyed up. I caught a few myself the other day.... On top, mostly shorts but still fun.
Green is tough. Caught 5. around 10 lbs. Sat. All on pig and jig (real pork). All were on isolated wood on bluffs. Had to work hard for em too. No early bites.
