A special thanks to those in this country that didn't listen to the fear mongering and all the other BS that came President Obamas way. We can soon move this country forward not backwards as it's been done for way to long.........

Oh, now play nice. The conservatives are all in a tizzy over this. Their guy (though most conservatives on here did not like him in the primaries) lost. Their belly aching is their adult way of saying "I'm taking my ball and going home...". They had the last 8 years to do something for the country, but ended up putting it in the crapper. Time for something different. I figure on giving Obama a shot at turning things around. If he fails (I mean, it can't really get any worse than the current administration has done), I'll join Col Forbin on here in putting him down too.

Oh, and I really don't get all of the "everyone can be lazy and Obama will give them money" kind of crap. Say what you will about the guy, but he busted his butt to get where he is today. No rich/influental daddy like the current administration had to help him out on the way. I would think he would be the last person to want to help out a lazy bum. Heck, on NPR this evening thats the same message that folks were noting on there. Its time to work hard to get somewhere in life, the sky is now the limit.

Possibly so. Like I've said in several posts, I'll give the man a fair shot and judge him based on what he does. Did the same for Bush when he first took office. Can't say that I was a big supporter of ANY of the candidates. The election was sorta like watching your mother in law driving your truck over the edge of the grand canyon--I have mixed emotions about it....

I know you love this and I would too if I were you. I'm old enough to know something that you are well aware of and that is watch what you ask for because sometimes you get it!

The shine will wear off, the real work will begin and if he does well I'll feel good just like you. If he tanks I'll feel good as well so I win either way. Enjoy the win!

I am #4. Where did you get all your information from; talk TV, talk radio or the news papers. All 3 are really great, really reliable sources. By the way I have a bridge I would like to sell.

I must have been living under a rock for a while. When did we become a third world country that just overthrew the dictatorship? That's what it looked like to me late Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning. It shouldn't take a presidential election to generate that kind of optimism in this country. I had the same opportunities last week as I do today. Focus your eyes on the prize and then pursue it.
