Actually this country was founded on freedom from religious oppression. Albeit, the movement was within the Christian religion. That is why the constitution protects popel with differences - it does not only protect Christians. Obama is a Christian - check the facts on this one, please.

Aside from that point - I know quite a few people that don't attend a Christian church, or choose not to attend any church - I don't think that automatically makes them incapable of achieving or accomplishing great things. This isn't Nazi Germany, we all have the freedom to practice any religion or follow any faith.
