Spent 7 years in the Silicon Valley portion of the SF bay area as a young single guy. There are few places better for a young straight male if you can be tolerant of the weirdos. Tons of beautiful women looking for heterosexual men. Even I could luck out whenever I wanted. Those were some good years till one of em set the hook and throwed me in the box.
Yes folks, parts of San Francisco truly are a circus freak side show. My mother and sister came to visit me out there from Alabama. Since they didn't believe the things I'd told them, I took them up to the city for a ride down Castro street to see the sights. First thing they see is a dude in spiked black leather sporting a mowhawk. He's leading his leather clad 'partner' along on a leash attached to a spiked leather neck collar like a dog's. The looks on my folks' faces made me laugh to tears. I slowed down so much looking and laughing that mowhawk shot me a bird with is free hand. That made me laugh so hard I almost wrecked. Mama made me get the heck out of there before I "got us all killed".
