Thanks for the info...... Going to try it next week sometime... If I get a cloudy day that is. So from Flatwoods up towards the river it is turning over right? So I wonder if it has already turned over from grove down towards the dam and towards holly bay and craigs creek. I was planning to fish up past holly bay and thats the area I like this time of year. Anyway I will Post the report when I get back If I go.
the water is clear & in good shape on the holly bay side of the lake but with these cold temps for these next several nights expect a sudden drop in the water temps & more turnover water john
Thanks for all the info john... I Absolutly love laurel lake.. even though people call it the dead sea. You just gotta change what ya do to catch a few. That should be the slogan for laurel..lol Its really a good place to fish.. Expecially in the winter months. Im still going to go next week anyway even if the water is turning... Maybe find some clear water and catch a few still!
yeah i love laurel lake also i think it is the best lake i have ever fished & i have fished it since it was impounded. it is better now than ever, good luck john
