Being offended, and BLATANT hatred are two different things, my friend.
AND I have no problem not liking something and "getting over it" but my post about free speech was more in line with the FILTH that is spewed out by some of the rappers out there, and the FILTH that is on TV......etc. etc.
AND to make an implied comparison of a Presidential Candidate to one of the most oppressive and HATEFUL regimes in the history of the WORLD is just SICK.
For you to not understand this, is well..........it is what it is.............

Guess I'm just not easily offended when it comes to comedy, rap........ because it is what it is. Remeber when Elvis was perceived as way to racy for his time?
Maybe it's just a generational thing (not sure of your age).
I don't like too much of that junk. Rap seems violent as opposed to racy (big difference) not many murders where done in the name of colors. Elvis never mentioned "poppin' a cap in yo' arse"and foolish statements like that.
Comedians that can't be funny without cussing like a fool only show their ignorance. I love comedy but it has to be witty for it to keep my attention.

My point was just that is funny to think that Elvis was seen as racy by the older generation then just like todays older generation may over react to some of todays stuff.
Oh yeah Jonny Cash among other country music stars have sang about poppin a few caps, beating wives and abusing drugs..........
I guess I'm just an old soul then because I don't see a comparison between Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Elvis, Willie Nelson or any other musician that lived hard and tried or used drugs. My point was just that is funny to think that Elvis was seen as racy by the older generation then just like todays older generation may over react to some of todays stuff.

I could mention alot of rappers that have been charged with Murder, Rape, Drug Dealing and gang banging. It's a different world now alot of these people have lost respect for anyone except themselves much less another human. Again thats a big difference, the Rap scene is bad and since I don't like it I find alot of negatives in it......sound familiar?![]()
Man DJD, seems like were from a similar mode...cause my feelings about Rap and all the Gangsta's are the same...I guess I'm just an old soul then because I don't see a comparison between Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Elvis, Willie Nelson or any other musician that lived hard and tried or used drugs.

Big difference from the Country Music singers to today's Rap Punks and I do say Rap Punks..... Too much dope, women hating, abusing and degrading, plus all the violence associated with Rap songs...I think they should all be banned and not sold to anyone under the age of 18...

Most of the hardcoe rap albums have a Parental Advisory or Explicit Lyrics sticker on them and stores usually don't sell them to anyone under 17. They can also release a clean version of a album if they want and many do. Same goes for the video game industry with mature rated games. The game you posted a question about awhile back "The Suffering" is a Mature rated game for example. Again though it should be the parents who monitor this stuff.
