I was down last weekend and the water was around 60 degrees. It should start dropping quite a bit now though. Fished with live bait and caught 14 in 3 days and had as many on, but came off. Qiute unusual for live bait I thought. Good luck.

Bryan,
Give it about a 30 second then apply pressure. You'll keep them pegged.
I'm headed down for the next 3 weekends to locate'm and show them Mr. Pointy!

temp was 62 this week end but we are seeing temps dip nightly, we are catching fish 30ft while drifting and also close to the bank when throw out on livebait, here's a couple pics of some smaller fish, the one of an eagle who got lucky, shortly after a short drift he got a free 15 lb drum ........the bait cages are all homemade Im sure you see that, not particularly easy to handle those you see around the dock are normally there from oct through april.
opps look like I can send an attachment with this
Hoping someone can provide a report on artificials as the water cools. I'm going down the weekend before Thanksgiving.
Steve,
I'll be down this week for three days fishing out of Horse Creek and should be back for the next two weekends after that. I'll email you a report.

Mark, I tried everything that weekend. It was just a weird bite. I'm not used to fishing in October, thought that might be part of the problem. Didn't seem to be on hard feed yet.
Why don't you have your buddy Mr. Trump build a bait cage?
Bryan,
Could be time to switch your Cheese. PM sent.
