    Re: Kerosun heater

I'm currently borrowing a kerosun heater from my ole buddy ole pal DJD...man, what a lifesaver...that thing keeps my garage nice! I throw a gallon of kerosene in there, fire that baby up, and let it get things warmed up in the garage...then I can spend all the time I want out there without being bundled up and cold. NICE.

As for changing out the wicks, I have no clue...but I know that there's an old fashioned True Value hardware store near my house...love going in there, because it's one of those small places where the folks are glad you're there...and they will clean and service a kerosene heater and install a new wick for like 10 bucks. They do a great job sharpening my lawn mower blades too.

    Brian,
I was being smart one day after having wet gloves from playing in the snow and placed my "Marlboro" leather gloves on the top of the "grill" so they could dry. Well an hour later I realized that it was a bad idea since the gloves looked smaller and turn up at the finger tips. I felt like OJ Simpson 'cause the glove didn't fit! Merry Christmas!

When I smoked I got all kinds of Marlboro gear....Gloves, keychains, tent, sleeping bag, and gloves...The stuff comes in handy at times for me and the family while camping.

Merry Christmas to everyone on the board...Stay warm cause I'm staying closer to the heater for sure......
