Crap would hit the fan if Obama credited his victory to the same thing - but when someone from your own party says negative things about Bush, it is acceptable.
How about Sarah Palin tells it like it is? Seems more appropriate without the left wing slant don't you think? To me someone throwing another under the bus is when they have been caught telling a lie so they grasp for a straw to protect themselves (Barry). Did she do that? NOPE!

If you guys ever watched O'reilly he said alot of truths about this administration that went against the party so did Beck, Hannity, Reagan and many other Independants and GOP members but who cares they were telling the truth. Don't remember people getting upset about that? Do you? Now your hung up on Sarah Palin telling the truth? Does she scare you guys that much? NEWS FLASH.....she lost!

The GOP lost their way plain and simple and now they see that they have to retool. Exactly like the Dems did after Kerry and Gore lost. We all know the GOP will get in again thats how it works. I personally wish that who ever it is that they work for us not the special interest goons that run the daggone gubment.

Like I said she didn't lie or mislead anyone she told the truth....remember what that is like all you Barry lovers? Maybe not, since his truth telling accidently got thrown under the bus with Jerimiah Wright and the church he attended for 20 years. Or was it when he did it to the slum lord? Maybe it was Bill Ayers? Aww, I can't keep up with it.

She didn't say anything about the bush administration that I haven't said on here before. The only difference is I get jumped all over, and everyone jumps to Bush's defense when I, PL, pontooner - or any of the other free thinkers make that statement. It is funny how the response is different when the same comments comes from someone representing your beloved GOP. Palin "speaks the truth." I guess since we have all made the same statements PL, Pontooner and Myself fall under that same category. WE SPEAK THE TRUTH.

Not so fast, thats a big jump from Palin to you three "free thinkers" (good one) speaking the truth. LOL!

I guess if we go back to the original post she ran for V.P. and when she lost had an interview...spoke the truth as we all know it. Pontooner tried to twist it into a Liberal Movement (BTW I have one in the morning and at night after Supper) but that's beside the point.
If you spoke the truth you would not be a Liberal. HA HA I needed that one! Thanks for the joke....

Since when can you not speak the trurh and throw someone under the bus?

Example: We're on the same football team have the ball and a 3 point lead with just a few seconds left to play and you fumble the ball, the other team scoops it up and scores a touchdown to win the game.

After the game I'm asked why we lost the game (everyone knows why but the question is asked anyways) and I just flat out say because of DJD.

I told the truth but were on the same team, now doesn't that look bad on me?

MsgMills I didn't bring up the debt or try to place the blame on anyone, Palin did.

Firstly, I never fumbled when I played. Secondly, if I did I don't remember because I didn't like wearing my skull cap. Thirdly, if I did and then lied and said it never happened it was that dagum Pontooner fella who can't hand a ball off to his right, (always goes left) to save his life and you showed me the tape but I then said it was PL's fault because all he can block is the Sun and then you showed me the tape again and I said it was the coaches fault for not supporting me in my fragile time of need. Then I finally blamed Col for selling me a bad batch of "roids" and took my ball and went home then and only then would I be throwing anyone under the bus.

Creative post to say the least but how about we just blame the Republican administrations poor play calling for the loss like Palin did.

Again I don't see why telling lies, shifting blame............ is the only way you can throw someone under the bus.

You Betcha! The GOP blew it said it before and os did many others. I respect McCain but he wasn't my choice Romney was out of that party.

I guess the way I see it is that when your telling the truth you have nothing to worry about your calling it like it is. Now if you back up and back up and finally hit the wall and then tell the truth at the expense of others along the way you used them to hide.
Remember this one....I did not have sexual relations with that woman? Well actually that was being thrown under the table not the bus! My bad.

Re: Palin throws Bush under the bus.

I'm glad you do Kevin, and I believe you....unless your claiming that politicians tell the truth. The Obama fiscal policy and economic doctrine is an insult to all americans except for the top 1%. If the top 1% gave up 100% of what they made it wouldn't solve our fiscal issues....and they probably could and still be fine. Bottomline, when you spend more than you have...there's a problem. It's going to take someone with a back bone of steel to right the ship. I don't think there's a DEM or REP that can do it. Too many outside influences.

It would take some tough love to ween people off entightlment programs or castrate the power of unions suckling/lobbying the political power tit or reduce defense spending in key areas that don't leave us vulnerable to attack.
