Happy B-Day Woody, I hope to get to meet you one of these days, since I feel like I know you personaly just from being on this board, and reading all your wonderful fishing reports. I have never been FNF fishing nor have I caught a smallie bigger than a pound, but I will happily take you and your wife if she wanted to go to Dale when you get to feeling like it, so you can get out and forget some of the problems you are having. My prayers are with you and your family, and please get better soon, I will miss your reports this winter.

Still alive for what it is worth. Spent 17 more hours in the hospital on Tuesday with pain, fever and other stuff. They admitted me at 6am then sent me home at 4pm. Long story short, if the Doctors on duty were treating one of their family members they would have a lot more respect for the patients than was shown to me. 182 days in the hospital since Sept 2007, 332 days in the hospital in the past 4 years and just a decent estimate 500-550 days in the hospital since Labor Day 1997. Been tough on me, tougher on my wife and toughest on US. Worst time it has been on US ever. Anybody have any faith in anything (I am not going there in my lack of) send a LOT of it OUR way, my wifes way and if any extra some to me as well. Not looking good currently on me doing anything else be continuing to be a Professional Patient for a while longer. Go back Tuesday to find out what the final verdict is on the next Possible date with the Operating table that could happen as early as the end of next week.

On a side not Happy Birthday to me for I turn 41 in about 2 1/2 hours, November 13th. I sure do with the next 41 years are different than the past 11 years when it comes to my bouts with medical problems.

Happy birthday nuts. I know that every motivational speech,every prayer imaginable, everything that might be said in some way to pick you up..have been said on here the past few years. The only thing I can say is that your still in the choppers prayers and I still hope to shake your hand someday soom cause anyone who has been through what you have deserves not only my respect, but a coke on the house. one of my favorite quotes comes from H.L. Menken: "There comes a time, when at times , all mortal man must roll up his shirt sleeves, spit in his hands, host the black flag and start slitting throats." I think enough is enough. it's woody time! Hang tough woody.
