    Excel would probably be your best bet. You can create collums for every category (water temp, air temp, wind, weather, depth, structure, time or whatever. Once you get in a play around with the data options, you will discover you can organize and sort through the data quickly with the excel options. It keeps it nice and neat too.

    I use an excel worksheet. Printed out several copies and put them in a 3-ring binder. I seperate these by lake and have columns for water temp, date, productive lures, wind condition and a comment section that I can add any other info. as to the hows and wheres and who I'm fishing with. I also include a couple of picture binders with each lake to show fish I've caught there if a camera were available. In the first half of the binder I have info in there that I have gotten from the Internet referring to anything from lure color to locating and anything that pertains to fishing that I could find including an article from some guy named Dave Stuart on Ledge Fishing.

    Hey.......

    I've been using Microsoft Access, and have actually written some pretty cool stuff into the process.......

    I've been SERIOUSLY thinking about trying to market it, but since we have some rules about advertising here......if you guys are willing to TEST it, and give me some good feedback, I will post a link on my website to download it.

    It does LOTS of stuff......

    * Database of Lures
    * Database of Conditions
    * Database of Lakes........and doing some CREATIVE stuff with mapping, google maps, etc, etc.
    * Database of Trips.
    * Query Engine to issue what if queries.
    * Reporting system.

    Later,

    Geo
