I fish there and my motor is 90hp I was Idling around one day and when I left I put the boat on the trailer with the big motor and game and fish saw me and told me next time I start that motor in that lake again that he would give me a fine.

while I have seen peeps with bigger motors run on the lake on occasion, i certainly agree that 99% don't go over idle. I wonder how someone could find out for sure, I certainly don't want to break the restriction on purpose.
I don't see the difference between my 150 at idle and a jon boat with a 9.9 full throttle, except that the jon throws ALOT more wake.
Anyone out there know how to find this out for sure ??
Thanks in Advance.

I might hafta take kincaid off my list.....is much more difficult loading the boat if you can't use the motor...
I see people that load with there big motor and never seen a ticket handed out, I think he was more worried about the idling on the lake I was doing and I was just idling back to the dock. Then I loaded with the big motor.
