Llama made a "Comanche III" .357 cal. Magnum, about 35-40 years ago and it looks almost like a Smith & Wesson with a 6-inch blue steel barrel. It is made in Spain and doesn't have any serial numbers. I think it has a high accuracy rate or I got lucky; saw a coyote sneaking up on the neighbors goat a long distance away. I took a rest on the post of the porch instead of regular grip, pulled down and the coyote rolled; it surprised the heck out of me. As you probably know the more grains of powder the greater the accuracy. The bullet style determines the other part of the penetration distance. i.e., 3-6 in. body penetration where the bullet stays in the body, 6-10 in. body penetration which is also organ destruction, and 10-15 inch body penetration which, in most cases goes completely through the body. I left out a couple of the penetrations, but you get the idea.
I don't know if Llama is still sold in the United States but if so, they may have been required to add serial numbers. It sure would be interesting to know.
