At Green the limit should by any size so they can be gotten out of that lake, I think they have hurt Green some, the best muskie bait on that lake is a 12in bass, and nothing worse than losing a high dollar crankbait to one of these muskies.

Frankfort, Ky. – Anglers can express their opinions regarding size limits on muskellunge at three of Kentucky’s lakes by participating in a special online survey for the next few weeks.
Members of the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Commission want public input before considering any changes to the existing size limits at Cave Run Lake, Green River Lake and Buckhorn Lake. Results of the online survey will be tabulated Dec. 4 and presented to commission members for consideration at their Dec. 5 meeting in Frankfort.
Anglers can complete a questionnaire on muskie size limits by logging onto fw.ky.gov, the website of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources.
You need to voice your opinion at the F& W wed site as well. Here is the link

Bobby, please don't take this as a slam against you and your love for bass fishing, but muskie were native to the Green river drainage and they should be there. Also, remember not everybody fishes for bass, so having a diversity is a good thing. I don't have a dog in this fight and don't prefer one over the other.
No slam taking, just sorta making a joke due to some comments that I have heard from locals there. I know they were native and they are fun to catch when you can catch one, I have only caught one and it was in Barren river, very little one, but there is some monsters in Barren river now, but it is a sight when fishing Green and a big un follows your fish to the boat. No harm no foul.![]()
Sorry Bobby, like you said no harm, no foul.
green, buckhorn and cave were either kept as muskie lakes or had muskie introduced into them for a reason. I believe the limit should be a minimum of 40 inches statewide, regardless of location. Id personaly like to see those specific lakes at a 50" minimum like some parts up north... but I dont see that happening anytime soon. there's plenty of "bass lakes" in the state.
Just my 2 cents.
My vote is in. Size limit increase is definetly needed. Thanks for the post.
here is a bump from me
I like the 40 inch size limit...muskie dont seem to start gettin their shoulders till they get around 40....and i fish for both muskie and bass in green
