Did anybody make it to Stoner Creek in the last few days......I want to get out there in the next week or so but the last couple times I have been it has been really slow...that usually is my luck when the water gets below 50 but it seems to be a bit worse this year than I remember and so far I haven't been able to get very far up Strodes Creek...there is some good fishing up there but the duck weed has been too thick for me to penetrate
this fall.

unfortunately no, i didn't make it out this weekend (despite what I told myself all last week lol ), it was just too nasty. If it weren't for the 15-20 mph gusts i probably woulda made it out, but no such luck.

Sorry, no info on Frymans.

I'm going to try and make it out there maybe Thursday, if the weather cooperates.

I may bite the bullet myself and get out there one day this week too....Sunday was a dreadfull day to do anything, for me anyway.....I may see you up there.....If you see an ugly old guy with a goatee in an aluminum basstracker,say howdy...

LOL, same goes for you if you see a couple guys in a red sprint.

I'll be the one in the gloves, toboggan, facemask and three coats LOL, probably cowering behind the windshield trying to get out of the wind.

The creek is finaly up to pool 13.3, but still not enough flow to get the duck weed over the dam. This morning it appeared to be bunched up in front of the houses above Ike's. This afternoon the wind managed to spread it around and push it above the water plant. I've not seen it linger this long, but a good rain should send it on.

The duck weed has been persistant this year.....Some fellas like fishin the stuff but it always kinda iritates me......This year even the water seems to have a little less color than it usually does....fishing wasn't bad though back in late august and september,but since then the bass I have been after have taken a vacation....
