If only UK fans were that supportive - I never thought I would be missing Tubby. Billy may turn it around.

Not a Indiana fan per say but certainly not a hater. Saw some of the video from their season opener and the fans are pumped like I haven't seen up there in a long time.
Crean was high fiving people on the way out, refreshing to see fans that jacked over the first game of the season.
The fans are really behind their new coach bigtime.

I'm not a HUGE cat fan but I always enjoyed the atmosphere and tradition here. I think Billy will turn it around but it will take time. That has to be the toughest job in College b-ball. Not a whole lot of patience around here for a coach.
I'm amazed that he still doesn't have a contract with UK!![]()
You know I didn't know that?? No contact, wow, what does he do punch a clock, lol.I'm not a HUGE cat fan but I always enjoyed the atmosphere and tradition here. Ain't that something? It was in the paper on Sunday and Mitch B. said uhh well we just haven't made it to that point yet but there isn't a problem it's just we haven't finished the deal (paraphrasing).
Man Billy G. built a big house so he must feel like the deal is done? That's foolish in my mind either you want me and my terms or not. A few months of negotiating maybe but this long? Kinda smells funny to me.
Yeah, it's great to finally have a coach who takes as much pride in the Program as the General had. Indiana might not win as many ball games this year or next, but I believe they'll be in the mix again in just a short time from now.....
Go Hoosier's........
I'm still pulling my hair out wondering what the Heck is up with UK vs VMI.......![]()
I've said it before and I'll say it again. The landscape of college athletics is completely diffrent now. Big programs with blue chip players like Kentucky are almost always in a rebuild or restructure year. While other smaller schools the (VMI's) of the world have a junior and senior laden roster of guys that are use to playing with each other, it makes a big diffrence. That's why you will see these little teams you have never heard of before breaking backs in the tournament every year. The big programs will never dominate the college basketball scene ever again like it once was. The big programs have to be realistic and take heed that anybody can beat anybody on a given night. Not just a cliche anymore but darn true. I think the UK players were reading a little too much press after that beat down they gave that Church league school and got to feeling a little to happy with theirselves. They will be alright especially now that somebody totally got their attention.Yeah, it's great to finally have a coach who takes as much pride in the Program as the General had. Have to agree with you about the landscape of college basketball changing, so many of the top recurits are one and done or if your lucky they stick around for two. While these recurits are bit more polished when coming in since they play all that AAU ball their teams still don't have that chemestiry that comes from playing together for a few years like the good ol days.I've said it before and I'll say it again. Seems like this revolving door of players has had a major effect on most of the top programs except for my beloved Tar Heels, they just keep reloading.
With that said, good luck to the Cats on Tuesday, your going to need it.
Updated: Hansbrough out for Tuesdays game, so you kitty cat fans don't need to be as scared.![]()
