Finally got to talk to my buddy at the bait shop in Hawesville. He said that the bank was still open for fishing at the dam since the power company hasn't started construction as of yet.

He also stated that the sauger were starting to move in on both the rocks and the sand (bank fishing). People were also catching some out of boats also (don't know where or what on)
