    Favorite smallmouth baitcasting setup?

    Just looking for a smallmouth baitcasting setup just wondering what everyone's favorite rig was?

    6'6'' mh st croix avid with a chronarc 50 mg and 10 to 15 lb flouro or i also like my 6'8'' loomis glx mh with a chronarc 50 mg... with same line... but i like to fish for smallies with a spinning out fit..... i like a loomis glx bronzeback 6'8'' fast action with either a okuma epixor 30 or a shimano saros 2500 for the reels.... with 8lb bass pro mono...i seem to have alot better luck fishingwith spinning gear when i am fishing for them ole brownfish

    I do like the chronarch Mg, very light, how do you feel about the Bronzeback casting rods?...I was looking at the 6'9" MH to team up with the 50 Mg. I do like the spinning bronzebacks but have never used the casting, just wondering about those.

    dad has a bronzeback loomis it isnt a glx but he likes it.... i would say since its a loomis its going to be a good un.....

    I just heard that Shimano is not making the chronarch 50 mg anymore?.....BOO!

    yeah thats true i heard it down here at the cain pole the other day too.... welp if u want one u better get one while they last... they are one of the best reels i have ever held....
