Has anybody been to stoner creek in the last week or so....I'm wanting to go later this week and am wondering if anybody is catching any bass...

I may hafta go just to see what kinda shape it is in after this little bit of rain we had.
it might have a bit more color that it had a couple weeks ago...I'm sure the water temp has dropped several degrees...was high 40's last time i was there...It prolly has frozen duck weed on it....

Not sure what day I will find time....this week is bout filled....I'm hopin' the weather will cooperate saturday.....not as imune to the cold as I was when i was 30.....20 degrees didn't use ta be too cold...now it seems 40 chills my old bones out...wish you luck ,save me a couple.

Stoner out of Ike's looks great, nice color and i havent seen any duckweed to speak of, plenty of water also. I unfortunately haven't had the time to get on it though.

Made that trip to stoner today,great day for fishin'.......lousy day for catchin'.....Water was 38 degrees and as clear as I have ever seen it....we had to push ice out of the way in a few spots and then ran into it frozen across the creek .
(we decided not to break our way through that)...we fished for three hours or so and never got a bump that I was aware of.....at one point we were in 6ft of water and I could see the bottom....thats as clear as i have ever seen the creek in my 25 or 30 years of fishing it.....I guess waiting until spring might be in order for me.

I saw a couple of guys go up around 10 this morning, couldn't tell the boat but it had a 250 merc was that you?

Was not I.......Put in at frymans about12:30 or so....Have a Basstracker with a 50 merc....was a couple guys fishing at the ramp,said they never got a bite either...
Wasn't another trailor in the parking area so i guess we were the only ones there..

These guys were out of Ike's, saw them go by the water plant. Still undecided about fishing Fri. may depend on how soon the rain gets here.
