To the bass fisherman who blasted by at 65+mph within 15 ft of my boat while the stripers were in the jumps. You succeeded in your mission. The fish went down before we could even make another cast. Did you really need to go between me and the bank instead of using the 1/4 mile of lake on the other side of me? Did you see the hand gesture that I gave you indicating that you were #1? BTW, you were so close that my buddy actually got most of your registration # off your boat. We sent it to one of our water patrol friends along with a description of your boat. Hopefully it will be enough to track you down and have the water patrol pay you a little visit. If not, I'm sure I'll see you again next weekend. Look for the BRIGHT RED TRITON that you almost ran over Friday morning. I'll be looking for you!

My partner, for today, and I threw our two (probably 4.5 to 5 lbs) back and left early to get back to Louisville. I don't think we would have made the money but with a close to 3 hour drive it was not worth staying around to find out. But MAN ALIVE were there a LOT of boats leaving early.
. The ranger wound up on the bank with the guy flying the bird the whole time.
