I'm sure there was some gaming going on but Harvin did get hurt. You have to play the media angle whenever you can and you can dang well be sure the media will play you. I'm PUMPED!! I can hardly wait!!Brandon Antwine has "improved" remarkably with only 5 days of therapy and may be able to play, according to his coach.
Bama believes that Harvin's injury was faked to throw them off in the upcoming game. Because they are unsure, Bama has devised 2 separate game plans to take care of the problem.
"Ala-bam-a, Ala-bam-a, we will ayeee be true to thee."
I feel the goosebumps rising...............
ROLL TIDE, ROLL!I love College Ball.

Come on, do you really think Cincy should be in one of the BCS Bowl games with their 10-2 record. Their not even in the class as Alabama, Florida, USC, or Okla....It's the Whole BCS debacle that let's weak teams become eligible to play in a BCS type game. Just like U of L did two tears ago when the Big East was so down and U of L went through the league like a cupcake League.
As far as IU going to the Bowl game, IU was predicted to finish next to last, last year in the league, but played their butts off and won 7 games and earned the right to play in their bowl game. I'd really like to see U of L play in the SEC or Big Ten and see exactly how they would fare each year....Two of the toughest Leagues going...
Now for Boise State and Utah, well they do play in weaker Leagues as well as did U of L when they were supposedly screwed over by the BCS Commish's.... But to go undefeated in College Football is a feat well deserved of any school and that undefeated record should get a little more reginition towards a National Title than say a team with 2 loss's playing in a BCS Bowl game....The Automatic right to play in a BCS Bowl game should not be determined solely on the winner of a so called BCS League. If that's the case then only the Teams who play in only the BCS Elgibil Leagues will always be the only ones to ever become the winner of the Championship Game....Then why should all the other teams who are not in these leagues even play College Football for, oh I forgot...They play so that the BCS League Teams can play weaker schools in order to pad their records with palying weaker schools... But yes, some weaker schools like Appl. State provide the occassional upset of a Major College team......
I found this on the internet last night. You may have already read it but it is noteworthy.

"Today the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) released their list of 2008 All-Americans, and the list included four Crimson Tide players. Those players are left tackle Andre Smith, center Antoine Caldwell, nose guard Terrence Cody, and safety Rashad Johnson.
The Tide's four All-Americans mark the most of any team in the country, and to my knowledge it's the first time we've had multiple All-Americans since Shaun Alexander and Chris Samuels in 1999." (by Outside The Sidelines)
This should prove to be the best game of the season. Am sending you and two others a picture of the Saban's Christmas card for this year. Please notice the heads mounted above the fireplace. lol
Sorry, sending the Christmas card by private email.
Florida scores first, Alabama answers...7-7 with minutes left in the First Quarter. This might just be a game!
Tebow is a ball player. Our D effectively shut down his rushing for the most part but he threw the ball when and where he needed to 100% of the time. A really great player for sure.
Like I said earlier, this has been an amazing year for the tide, if asked minutes before the Clemson game would anyone have ever though Bama would have been in the position?
On a side note...Julio Jones...this MAN is going to be AMAZING!!
B_bug, hehe thanks for the card. Nice!
No doubt that dude will be a great player with his size. He prolly won't stick around long enough to help Alabama. Boys like him get into the NFL as soon as they can.

Would love to see Tebow drafted by the Redskins...... Going to be a real sad day if Detroit winds up with him......![]()
Hey now Bassin Bug.I'm true blue...love my Wildcats...and I'm proud of the way the defense stood tall against Alabama and respect that. Unfortunately, the offense (or lack thereof) handed Bama the game.
That said, let's face facts that 6-6 overall record, 2-6 in conference, is NOT a very good football team. If narrowly escaping counts as the same as winning, then narrowly not escaping counts as the same as loosing...and Kentucky narrowly not escaped in several games. Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, as my Dad calls it. LOL With everything we lost to graduation last year, and everything we lost to injury this year, wrapping it up at 6-6 and a bowl berth is nothing short of a miracle. I respect that they got it done, but it's on the wings of beating 1 Louisville, 3 cupcakes, and 2 SEC foes having down years (Arky and MSU). I can respect their effort without thinking they are a good team this year. Maybe calling them crappy was a little harsh, but the point was that I don't think they're a good football team this year.
Mhall, I agree that the BCS is whacked and that Texas is a bit hosed.
I don't necessarily agree that just because a team is undefeated that they should be in a BCS game though, because of strength of schedule. An undefeated Boise State shouldn't be ranked equal to a 1 loss Florida, when Florida plays much tougher opponents on a weekly basis than they do.
Which again, all points to a PLAYOFF SYSTEM if you ask me.![]()
