That said, let's face facts that 6-6 overall record, 2-6 in conference, is NOT a very good football team. If narrowly escaping counts as the same as winning, then narrowly not escaping counts as the same as loosing...and Kentucky narrowly not escaped in several games. Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, as my Dad calls it. LOL With everything we lost to graduation last year, and everything we lost to injury this year, wrapping it up at 6-6 and a bowl berth is nothing short of a miracle. I respect that they got it done, but it's on the wings of beating 1 Louisville, 3 cupcakes, and 2 SEC foes having down years (Arky and MSU). I can respect their effort without thinking they are a good team this year. Maybe calling them crappy was a little harsh, but the point was that I don't think they're a good football team this year.

Mhall, I agree that the BCS is whacked and that Texas is a bit hosed.

I don't necessarily agree that just because a team is undefeated that they should be in a BCS game though, because of strength of schedule. An undefeated Boise State shouldn't be ranked equal to a 1 loss Florida, when Florida plays much tougher opponents on a weekly basis than they do.

Which again, all points to a PLAYOFF SYSTEM if you ask me.

Okay, I'll take my spanking but don't try to beat the BAMA out of me.

My Pastor is a great Kentucky guy. A couple of years ago, one of the deacons was to give announcements of upcoming church events. The first was that the toothbrush was invented in Kentucky. He looked at Pastor and asked, "Why didn't they name it TEETHbrush?" The second was that Kentucky played horseshoes during the football game. He wanted to know if they needed that many horseshoes for good luck.
