Well, I said I would report back, but I wish I had more to report. I met my buddy around 10 and we headed down to Frankfort at Steele Branch. Didn't really have any problems finding it, got turned around once but quickly figured it out. Nice ramp, we dropped in and the water temp was 41. We headed downstream and fished a few bluffs on the FnF(first time ever). I think we went passed Elkhorn creek, not sure. Creek on the right with a yellow house on the hill, is that Elkhorn?Tried to head up it but it was covered with ice a few yards into it. Went on down the river and fished a few bluffs. Finally gave up on the FnF and went to jigs and tubes. Got skunked but we had a great time. I think we'll try it again, just not when it's so cold. I learned a few things though. (1.) Braid and ice don't mix (2.) Don't forget your gloves (3.) Baitcaster rods ice up before spinning rods...
