F-n-F Rods

Elnut mentioned Sistar, All Pro and G-Loomis on his F-n-F article on the front page...about a year ago I heard some rumblings about Shimano was going to be coming out with an F-n-F Rod. Has anybody heard anything about this, has Shimano came out with an F-n-F Rod?

Steve Headrick was working with Shimano on designing a rod for them and I actually talked to the Shimano man as well one day at his store last winter. I thought the rod was coming out this year before the season. I know Headrick helped design one for Bass Pro that cost around a $100 but I don't know if this is the same rod that he was working on then and Shimano and Bass Pro went in together. I will be seeing Steve on Thur and Fri and will ask him about his Shimano rod and let you know Tim. Elnut

BPS has the new rod in their stores. It is part of their Pro Finesse line of rods. It is $119.99 and measures 9' long.
