Yeah no matter what the Judge said or what the jury was told I believe he got some payback. He is a knucklehead for sure.

He always just seemed to me like he thought he was entitled to do whatever and it was okay because he was OJ (The Juice). Can't stand people like that.

So what how much time is he going to do? I heard 8 years on one channel and 17 on another.

I watched it on Fox as the judge layed down the punishment and it came to 16 years. The legal team for Fox said 7-8 years before the possibility of Parole. He is just like alot of other sports figures they feel entitled to do as they please.....give them enough rope and they will hang themselves. I'm with you (did I say that?) these guys have no pity from me, let him live in jail I could care less. I wonder how important he feels now?

I just hope that while in prison, he is a catcher instead of a pitcher!

Would serve him right but probably won't happen. He'll be in a cell as nice as room in the Hilton or Marriott and in isolation I'm sure. He'll have as good or better living conditions than a lot of us busting our a$$ to live week to week.

Yeah I wondered about that but I can still go where I want and he can't!! LOL! Can't put a price on that.

I think he should have been put in general Pop though instead of solitary confinement.

    Re: OJ does the time

I can see it now OJ and M. Vick meeting up at the prison crying on each other's shoulders...Telling the prison inmates how everyone was out to screw them....But both of these two guys had it made from and threw it all away in the blink of an eye.......

I heard on the radio yesterday about how much money M. Vick spent prior to arriving at the Prison to start his time. But arrived at my destination before I heard the amount...But the previews leading up to the amount, were saying it was big time $$$$ spent in one day or two days prior to him arriving at Prison.......Did anyone hear the actual amount, maybe you can post the amount of all of us to read.....

    Re: OJ does the time

It's not like he's going to some minimum-security resort. He'll be in a cell just like any other inmate, and yeah he'll probably be in solitary "for his protection." After all, someone doing life without parole might think of OJ as a nice trophy. And I don't think the judge gave him that sentence as payback. But if it was, it wasn't enough, any more than Mel Ignatow's jail time for perjury was adequate payback for what he did. OJ could get out in 9 years, instead of living in jail for the rest of his natural life, then leaving in a box like he should.

    Re: OJ does the time

Ignatow got the maximum amount of time he could get, which you are right it is not enough. I don't think O.J. will have it all that bad. Unless he gets into some gambling debt or something else. He will probably buddy up with who every runs the joint and they will exploit him for what ever monetary benefit they can and they will keep him safe. He will probably be out in about 9-12 years.
