Well Elwood,,,,since i can`t get you or Bob to come up and fish the Ohio with me,,,when you going to take me to fish and show me your Fand F tricks on dale. Oh I`ll even fix your burned up carpet...LOL John AKA fisheater are going to dale in april again like e have the passed 2 yrs and loved it,,,,I love Dale!

Doug you are going to take me to the river as soon as my health and the bite can get together. It seems the past couple of years when you are killing them at the river and have offered I have been laid up recovering from another surgery. Hopefully this time is the last time and I am doing better than I have been doing for about 3 years now. Hoping my wound will finally be closed by the first of the year that has been open since September 2007. I am also going to get you to put all new carpet in my boat in the fall of 2009. I don't fish much in September and plan on getting with you in spring or summer of 2009 to get what I need to buy and will bring it to you. As far as Dale and the fly trip goes, you will just have to go with us some day. I am having a hard time right now with trying to accomodate everyone's request to take them to Dale FNF. It is really the only type of fishing that I think I can offer some really good tips on and that I feel comfortable in showing someone all I know. I have a list of people wanting me to take them including my Secret Santa that offered me a FREE FNF trip and I am going to have to push him off until January. I guess I need to try and get a bunch of boats together for one weekend and try and help all that I can at one time. Certainly not a pro at the fly but I think I know just as much as the next guy. I will be in touch.

Other than the one bank where we caught 8 the first 1 1/2 of thursday most of our fish came on points that were closer to deeper water. Both of my big fish came on points later in the after noon. Again thursday was the absolute perfect day for the fly and I only WISH the lake was at normal winter pool and we could have fished mid lake with all my big fish spots up there and no telling what would have happened. Basically thursday was my 4th day ever fishing the fly south of first island and I was wishing to be at mid lake with normal winter pool. Since we put in at Pleasant Grove and stayed in Celina pretty much we would be fishing a new lake anywhere on the water with the current level so for only 2 days we decided to stay south. Next weel we are staying at Hendricks Creek all week and we will be fishing mid lake pretty much all the time. I am studying the map with the new level in mind as we speak.

Appreciate the response. Hens and I will be leaving Sunday for 5 more days of Smallmouth Smackage at the Hollow.
