Funny but unfortunately some of our politicians actually believe that works. ie Right to carry laws are overruled just by a sign on a building. I KNOW that the criminals will obey that sign and not carry a firearm into a gun free zone building.

I don't have a carry permit just because of that stupid stuff. Say I was carrying and was just about to enter a building that had a no gun sign. Oops, I've got to return to my vehicle and secure my weapon.

I'm headed to the CCDW class in a few weeks. I'll only carry mine on me when I'm walking the creeks, in my boat or when on the Harley. Other than that it would stay at home at least thats what I think right now.

In KY a private business can put up the no gun sign but it has no legal standing (remember Im not talking about schools, govenerment buildings, etc). I either ignore the sign or refuse to do business there. If caught with a gun they can ask you to leave and if you refuse they can call the po-po for trespassing but not because you have a gun.
