Even the FBI says that this state is very corrupt, one of the worst if not the worst. This guy is dirty and gets on T.V. with that smug look just acting like he is untouchable.Rod Blagovitch our (Honerable Govenor) was led away in handcuffs by federal officials this morning. They served him with a 75 page list of chit he supposedly did. With a little luck President Bush will not pardon our last Govenor George Ryan (who is in prison) they can share a cell and cry on each others shoulder.![]()
Loved the interview he did yesterday were he said:
""I should say if anybody wants to tape my conversations, go right ahead, feel free to do it," said Blagojevich Monday. "I appreciate anybody who wants to tape me openly and notoriously, and those who feel like they want to sneakily and wear taping devices, I would remind them that it kind of smells like Nixon and Watergate."
Looks like he got what he wanted.
Oh yeah, tomorrow is his birthday. Have a good one Mr. Blagojevich
One last thing, does anyone think the guy look a little like Janet Reno or is it just me?
I just luv throwin out these little tidbits ,,,,trollin for takers
Don't let your head swell too big there Joe, pretty easy to catch fish with the biggest political scandal going. You do get a star on your leaf for bringing it up first though. That enough credit for you?
Janet Reno? Pontooner, you need to get an appointment with your shrink, man. (Make me one too, while you're at it.)
True, Geo.
Under state law, the governor has the sole unfettered discretion to name Mr. Obama's replacement. Until he's impeached or resigns that hasn't changed. Unless the Senate can invoke some circumstantial privilege or rule, they can vote all they want but Blagojevich still has the authority.

Wish I could find the pic of him I saw that made me think that.
I'm telling you, put those big ol Janet Reno glasses on him and they are twins, well maybe not twins but they look alike and the hair styles match.
tyme2fish is still an honest politician.
I am going to run for Govenor Of The Grand and Glorious State of Illinois.
My platform will be one of reform ,no more graft , no jobs fo sale, all contracts go to the lowest bidder. Wait a minute this sounds very familar I believe this was Rod's platform after the the last great Republican Gov we had got sent to the poky.
Ok lets try this again I will run under the platform of Everything is for sale to the highest bidder, Give me folding green and i will have you on the payroll by tomorrow and you put in the highest bid I will take your's and we will subcontract the job to the lowest bidder and split the profit 30/70. wait that's Both of the prior Govenors game plan.
**** maybe I won't run after all cause the only thing left is real honesty and there is no place for that in Politics
[QUOTE=pontooner;347480]Stop putting pictures of Janet Reno in my head! You could put them big ole glasses on anyone and they'd vaguely resemble her, so just stop it right there. Easier to stomach Mark and Don's (clearly a pair of sick individuals) descriptions. Hey, I just had an idea. If I donned a pair of Renos, maybe I could see fish 60 feet deep at Cumberland instead of only 30. Hm.Janet Reno? Pontooner, you need to get an appointment with your shrink, man. You're right............The state senate is going to force the issue though. THE state supreme court can rule him unfit, or the Senate can call a special session (which they currently are planning on doing), and CHANGE the LAW. As it sits today..........the CROOK does, in fact have the authority to appoint someone.Don't let your head swell too big there Joe, pretty easy to catch fish with the biggest political scandal going. BUT I don't believe any appointments would stand. NOT NOW.
Later,
Geo
