Blanked on the CR...wow! That's hard to do! You do definetly need to pick your fair weather days while fishing the CR in the winter. Although, I have had some amazing days during nasty weather...usually as long as the wind isn't blowing to hard. It seems when the wind is blowing hard at the CR, the fishing *****! Sorry to hear that about your trip. I'm sure you'll tear them up next time! Later.

If you are going in a canoe make sure you are wearing waders because if the water is low you will have to get out and push your boat down river. The bite is a little slower, but when it's a nice day even if it's cold they will bite.
