Had an interesting experience last Mon-Tues while fishing the C-River below Wolf Creek Dam....While fishing for trout, I experienced several large explosions, which I assumed had to be stripers due to the shear force of the explosion. Are there Stripers that stay around Wolf Creek area all winter long? Secondly, My friend and eye caught a couple large walleyes while attempting to catch some stripers. It was right at dusk. Is that usual for that area of the river and at this time of year? If anybody has any experience in fishing for either one, striper or walleye, on the C-River...let me know. Thanks.
