The smalljaws tournament was not scheduled when I did this. I started this LAST YEAR the week we had the tournament. It was scheduled with Thomas so moving the date was not possible. Then the Smalljaw tournament came in and wanted our week. Since Thomas had given it to us he held ground and they scheduled on top of Westmoreland, which hurt since that was 3 straight weekends of Small Mouth Tourneys. I have not scheduled a weekend for next year and have contacted Smalljaw.com to ask if they will work with me on their tournament next year. I will do promotional and sponsor work and they can run it, and I will post the get together on here... Fishin.com folks can meet the smalljaws folks and participate if they wish. This should increase participation and help with the costs.
I can cook with some help for all of them, and we may be able to use the Firehouse Again since there is no Restaurant in town any more that I am aware of.

There is a restaurant in Celina that opened up earlier this year. We ate there last week and the food was excellent. I is on the same roads as the Valley View hotel but on the opposite side. It is a maybe a 100 yards up from the Valley View. Excellent menu with MANY choices from Steaks to Seafood to all in between. Just FYI

Arsmallie got catered barbecue this year for the dinner Saturday night. It was excellent and so where the door prizes. Thank you All Pro and David Duvall.

Getting to my point, with 37 boats and staff, we almost filled that place up. I'd say we could accommodate another 20 or so...maybe. Just fyi.

Hey Extreme 21..... Did you have your eye surgery done that week of the smalljaw tourney?? I fished the tourney and got your room at the motel #13 after you cancelled out. Thomas told me he was booked up already and I was going to have to drive back and forth each day until you dropped out. It was a full house down there that weekend for sure and got to meet several folks in person that I talk to on the site.......283

I did TN and now they want to maybe do the other eye before the end of the year. I guess that I must have good insurance or the doc wants to get all he can before our company shuts down..lol Thats really not funny, But hey I had no idea how much that I was not seeing clearly, so if the want to do the other eye I will be there.

No checks to be cashed on this end. Saturday was a tough day for everybody, with no overs brought to the scale. Sunday weather wise was alot worst with wind and blowing rain, but fishing was better for all. with a couple of big fish brought in. We had 4 on sat. and 8 or 9 on sunday all in the slot both days. We caught some, just wasn't the right size. We had one on sunday that was 20 3/4 inches long, I tried to strech her, but just couldn't make the mark. So close. but yet so far. Met alot of folks from the site and had a great time. Already looking forward to next year. They are talking about having a elite tourney in the next month or two and a night tourney this coming summer. Maybe you can get in on them.............283
