I've never seen one in person but know a few that swear by them. Mike Daleo sells them here is a link, he is a top notch guy. http://www.bluewaterled.com/catalogdetails.php?id=32

Sounds interesting, but I'd need a little more before I broke out the wallet. Here is a link that I found. http://bbcboards.zeroforum.com/zerothread?id=331404

    Re: MVD info?

Guys I am the inventer of this product and I can tell you that it works but I dont want you to take my word for it. "MVD" stands for Motor Vibration Dampener! This product was designed to reduce the vibration which in turn causes noise in the water as you use your trolling motor. If you would like some more info on this product please feel free to email me and I can answer any of your questions. This product is not something that I just packaged and put out there. I have been working on this for the past five years and went thru about 30 some prototypes to get to where it is today. This product has been thru the vibration test after test and I can tell you after watching that first hand you have no idea what vibrations your trolling motor puts off until you see it on a Accelerometer. Without the MVD your average Trolling motor puts out 262Hz/G's of sounds, but with the MVD it is reduced/dampened to 228Hz/G's. That makes a huge difference (around 25% with one)when you are trying to sneak up on them!

For an even quieter motor put multiple MVD's on it! (I have three on mine.)

Here is a letter (quote)sent to me from I guy I dont even know:

    Mr. Goode,
My name is Richard Williams. I live in Paris Tennessee and am a crappie fishing guide here on Kentucky Lake. My good friend David Jones told me about your trolling motor band and asked me to take a look at it.
After looking at the web site and reading a little about it, I have to be honest and say I was a little skeptical. But I believe in David and I know David believes in this product. So I ordered one to try for myself.
After installing it on my trolling motor and trying it out, I want to tell you that this is an absolutely great product. It took 100% of the vibration out of my trolling motor. I normally fish with multipal poles and my trolling motor makes the tip ends of my poles wiggle just a little bit. After installing the MVD on my motor, they do not wiggle at all any more.
I field test a lot of products for several of my sponsors. But I have to say that this has got to be one of the best new products I have seen in a very long time.

Here is my email for any questions you may [email protected]

    Re: MVD info?

I get a lot of vibration noise and have tried placing rubber padding under the mount, but did not help much. This could be a possibility may have to try it, 15.00 bucks ain't that bad, one LuckyCraft lure.
