The argument does hold water. Just because we aren't using as much fuel now as we did before seems to be the reason that gas has dramatically dropped. Or......was it, you say there was and is no such thing as price gouging therefore why don't you give a detailed description as to why gas has dropped from 4.19 per gallon to 1.65 almost overnight?? Why was it ever that high and why now is it so low, hmmmmmmm??? I to believe in free market and don't like the gubment telling people what they can charge even though we have been doing it to the American farmer for years. However what ever happened to ethics, morals, values??? They are out the window because of people that think the way you do. Wow I've got something everybody needs so let's just charge five times what it's worth just because we can, that mentality is really working out well for the big Three right now isn't it? Oh and btw OPEC was started and is still basically controlled by Arab Nations, bank on it!
This is where you and I agree...you just don't know it.
If charging whatever doesn't work for you, then you either charged too much or too little. The high oil prices seemed to be working just fine for the oil companies.
I was already ticked off about this news...now Mark has posted it here and I've read it (better go check my blood pressure I guess because I feel it elevating!). In my opinion I think the brass in the white house should take off those suits and ties and exchange them for jeans and flannel shirts, and the following is my opinion of how they (the brass) should address the nation in regards to foriegn oil: "Boys...they're bending us over backwards, what do ya'll think we oughta do about it? What do ya'll say we take a vote?"
Just own own rednecked opinion...if you don't like it sue me.
