Looks like I am going by myself I will check here again in the morning before I leave incase anyone changes there mind. I will be leaving Ft. Knox about 5 in the morning trying to be there by 8. Hope to see someone there. I.M. your number and I will call when I get ready to leave.
Man I wish I would have gotten to this sooner, I would be all over it. You don't want to wait until sunday do you?
Alright guys got a partner thanks!
Hope you slayed them.
Drug the Ranger down and fished Thursday and Friday by myself with little luck. Had some bites on the 3/4 oz jig and 1 trout on the FNF. Next time you need someone send me a PM and I will split the cost.
Well we went to Dale yesterday. That is all I can say about that. Bad day put in and went to steer towards the dock at the state ramp to pick up my partner and the rack and pinion gear box snaped. Trolling motor we went tried jerkbaits, jigs, shakeyhead, and ya'lls beloved float and fly. I got one bite all day. Better than being in the house thogh so I can't complain and rather something break on me when I am fun fishing than a tourney. Can not talk bad about the float and fly as we did not have the right gear for it. we used a slip bobber and crappie jigs hahaha. I know I know but we did not have the right gear for it and I do not like fishing i the cold so I am not going to buy specific gear for a season I do not fish unless it is a warm day. O'well it was still fun hope Matt had a good time. Now does anyone know of a good rack and pinion steering system I can get for a decent price on a 18' bassboat with a 115 hp mercury EFI.
Shawn, I had a great time, and thanks again for taking me along. A day on the lake is always better than a day stuck at the house. Just let me know if you ever want to give dale or any other lake another try.
