Re: Call was put into Al Gore.....

It's been some strange weather lately. I mean it was 72 degrees about three days ago and now were in the single digits. I'm not the biggest supporter of global warming but do believe mankind has had a hand in some of these recent weather trends. The oceans are getting warmer and if you look at some pictures of bays that were once covered in ice and are now thawed you should be worried, even if these trends are natural or caused by mankind.

Kinda funny you posted this mhall because I was gonna start a "Al Gore was right" post after that record breaking 72 degree day just to be funny and see if I could start a few fights.

Al Gore is swinging from a vine. All this global warming baloney that he spills when he is in front of the camera is a farce. The last time I was by his farm at Carthage, TN he was not 'going green' on anything; his tractors still puff smoke; his trucks are V-8; his cattle still pass gas (lol) and belch; and he's as full of.... er...mud as a Christmas turkey. He blows enough hot air to wilt a forest but sets no example for environmental protection; he acts as if it doesn't apply to him. There has recently been talk about taxing farmers because their cattle pass gas that pollutes the environment. I wonder if Al will make any effort to go tax exempt.

Most of his crap started when he lost the presidential election and wounded his enormous ego. He wouldn't just go quietly because he is addicted to publicity and will do anything to call attention to himself. I'll get off my soapbox now and have another cuppa' coffee.

Al is a hypocrite, 'bug. Without global warming he becomes irrelevant, and he ain't gonna let that happen if he can help it.

I wish he would bring some of that hot air up here and melt this sheet of ice we are getting from the freezing rain today...I need to go out and do a little last minute shopping but don't want some nut hitting my new to me environmentally unfriendly gas eating truck.

Al could dry up that sheet of ice with just one TV interview.
If your last minute shopping involves buying your wife/girlfriend a gift, you may want to weigh your options. Which do you think will hit you harder, someone sliding on ice or her if you don't go buy that gift?

I covered my bases with the wife/girlfriend part just in case you have one or both. lol

We own a couple of those gasaholics and love them. When I pull 'er down into "D" on a wet boat ramp, that means drive, not spin.
