Right now with the water being up the ticket is to find a creek somewhere that flows into the river. Look for the area where the clear water meets the mud and fish that area with minnows on a slip bobber if the area is congested with drift wood. If its clear of debrie which I dought feel free to throw about anything, for everything. Alot of fish tend to get out of the main stem of the river for logical reasons. An old trick I use back up these creeks when cluttered with driftwood is pack several yards of trout line or heavy line with a treble hook attached, throw over large floating limbs and pull to one side and tie it off to something and you have a fishing hole for a while. Be sure to remove all the line and hook when you leave, just be careful...Good luck Chuck
