Don't want to go near the river right now unless you've got a decent size boat. It's rolling at 14,000 CFS. No wading until they get the lake level back to 680. Bank fishing is an option, but limited to a few public fishing spots that won't be all that productive.

A canoe is dangerous down there this time of year. Best to wait until things calm down unless you've got a good size boat. Sorry!

When they aren't releasing water from the dam, a canoe is great, but you've still got some boulders and trees that sit right below the surface. In still water sections you can't really see them until it's too late. Especially by yourself sitting in the back. I know from an experience unfortunately. Luckily it was in the summer.
