A fellow in my boat caught a 35 lb. fish yesterday on an alwive that was about 2 1/2 in. long. I almost guarentee that fish wouldn't have eaten a big bait. You can see the pic on the photo page at www.conleystriper.com. When the stripers are dialed in on small (1 in.) threadfin spawn, they'll eat little else.
