First I would like to thank all of you who replied and gave helpful advice. My dad and I have only been jsut a few times and know even less about the lake. The only time I went we just threw silver buddies all day. We went to Dale yesterday and going into the trip we set our minds on throwing jigs. My dad did catch a 18'' first thing in the morning and then we threw jigs after that. I tryed the eakins style jigs and never got bit so we picked up the football jigs we usually throw, which is a 1/2-3/4 ounce football jig with a full profile skirt and hanging a big trailer off of the back of it. We picked up that jig and we ended up catching a 15'', 19'', and 20'' smallmouth. It wasnt a great day but we made the most of it. Once a agin thanks for the help.
